Our Return Policy


Need a different size, design, or repair? No problem.

Standard Products (does not include Special Order or Design Your Own):

  • Products purchased directly from the Belted Cow Company may be returned for exchange or credit within 90 days with proof of purchase. We will ship your exchanged product back at no charge.
  • Product purchased from one of our retailers may be brought back to the store where it was originally purchased for exchange or credit per store policy. If you would prefer to send your product back to Belted Cow directly please include a check for $6.85 for return shipping. We can only issue credit for items purchased directly from the Belted Cow Company.

Special Order & Design Your Own Products:

  • With opportunity comes responsibility! We are happy to provide you the opportunity to express yourself with a unique design of your own creation. But please understand one man’s treasure is sometimes another’s….well you know. It can be very challenging for us to re-sell a special order or Design Your Own product. Therefore if you decide to send a special order product back (i.e., belt with non-standard buckle finish) for an exchange or credit, a 20 % special order re-stocking fee will be assessed. Due to the highly customized nature of Design Your Own totes, they can not be returned.  You can always contact one of our designers to go over your creation before you make your purchase. We have a lot of experience and would enjoy helping you.

Custom Products:

  • Custom products are designed using your logo or artwork on ribbon, embroidery and embossing. We work closely with you to ensure the design, sizing and product selection meet your requirements. Due to the custom-made nature of these products, we are not able to exchange or provide credit for their return.


  • We have made our products with workmanship and materials chosen to last. But let’s be honest, all apparel products have a life and how they are used will impact how long that life is. Hopefully it’s a full and rewarding one. When a Belted Cow product needs some TLC, please don’t hesitate to send it back to us for evaluation. We will look it over and determine if it is repairable or needs replacement and then contact you with the cost. We are happy to shorten belts, replace leather tab sets, etc… If we deem your product is defective in any way, we will replace or repair it at no charge.

To return a product:
1. Print out the Return or Exchange Form (PDF).
2. Follow the instructions on the form.
3. Send your item along with the completed form to:
