How's it made?

Each Belted Cow Dog Collar is field tested on dogs that swim in saltwater, traverse Maine's wilderness, and play in Maine's winter snow. We build our dog collars with only materials we trust -like tough nylon webbing to avoid fraying, Wienerlock side-release buckles for safety, and cast brass rings to avoid rust and corrosion. Made in the USA.

    We needed a new collar for our 3 year old black lab. My daughter wanted something to reflect our love of the ocean & boating and we stumbled across the belted cow website. I loved the fact that the company is a small business and relatively local to us in MA! We received the collar quickly and are so happy with our purchase! It’s incredibly well made and fits our pup perfectly! It’s not to stiff, which on an active dog is great, and I can tell it’s going to last many beach trips and lots of swimming!
