Maine’s original state flag (which flew from 1901 to 1909) has a simple yet elegant design that features symbols of a pine tree and a north star on a buff background. Given its recent boom in popularity, the original Maine flag seems poised to make a comeback.

How's it made?

This Belted Cow Hat features hi-density embroidery for a solid vibrant design and  unstructured brushed cotton panels. The Navy and Ivory versions are finished with an adjustable hook & loop enclosure.  The Nautical Red version is finished with solid leather adjustable strap with an antique brass clasp and grommet.  Embroidered in Maine- Imported Hat.     I bought two of these hats as part of the Belted Cow's fundraiser for the victims of the Lewiston mass shootings. They are, like all Belted Cow products we have bought over the years, well made and attractive. Thanks, Belted Cow, for being community minded. We Mainers have to stick together.
